How to Use Our Picture Frame Designer-  In Five Easy Steps! 

Step 1: Upload Your Artwork

Upload a photo of the artwork you would like to frame.

  • Drag and drop your image into the white box, or click “Browse File” to select a file.
  • If you are framing an object, jersey or similar item, select whether the background needs to be removed.
  • Click the ✓ checkmark to continue.

Step 2: Add Artwork Details

  • Select the type of artwork from the drop-down menu.
  • Enter the artwork dimensions.
  • Click “Next”.

Step 3: Choose Your Design

Now for the fun part!

  • On the right-hand side, choose your framing method.
  • Click any frame on the left-hand side to preview it around your artwork.
  • If your design includes a matboard, select one from the right-hand side.
  • Use the ruler to adjust the matboard width.

Different matboard widths on each side?

Click the black circle icon with an X and four dots next to “Select Matboard”. This allows you to adjust each side individually.

Save your favourites:

Click the  heart next to a frame to add it to your shortlist. To view your shortlisted designs side by side, click “Compare” at the top left.

Save a design:

Click the diagonal crossed-arrows icon to open the artwork-only view, then click the ↓ download icon to save the image. Click X in the top-right corner to return to the design screen.

Step 4: See It in Your Room (Optional)

Want to see how your artwork will look on your wall?

  • Click the bricks and frame icon above your design.
  • Upload a photo of your room.
  • Drag the ends of the striped line to two points in your photo.
  • Enter the approximate real-life distance between those points in the box labelled “Place both handles and enter dimension”.
  • Click “CONFIRM”.

Your framed artwork can now be dragged into position on the wall.

For a more realistic preview, click “Shadows” at the top of the screen to adjust the direction of the light.

To save your room preview, click the ↓ download icon. Click X in the top-right corner to return to the design screen.

Step 5: Request a Quote- (The most important step!)

Once you’re happy with your design:

  1. Click “Request Quote”.
  2. Enter your contact details.
  3. Submit your request.

We’ll review your selections and get back to you with a quote.

Want to start again?

Click “Reset” at the top-right of the screen.

Last of all, Don’t Worry!

If you accidentally select the wrong frame, matboard or option, don’t worry! We will confirm all of your selections with you when preparing your quote.
